In March 2022, Rocket Girl was captured again for research purposes (NOAA permit #21260): Don McLeish, Dr. Alexander Gaos, Camryn Allen, Summer Martin, Mikaela Dibble-Kahn, Tommy Cutt, Chanel Browne, Dr. Jeanette Wyneken, & Dr. Michael Salmon.  Note that Rocket Girl had a satellite transmitter (this one had blue epoxy) plus "Ei1" painted on her carapace that has faded.

“Polanui” is a juvenile hawksbill that was photographed from 2016-2017:

"Nike" was a juvenile hawksbill that was photographed in 2016 by Cheryl King, Anita Wintner, Tara Branham, & Miranda Camp, and then found deceased washed ashore entangled in nearshore fishing gear (a hook in the left front flipper with clear monofilament line wrapped tightly around the neck and both shoulders) in 2017.  Necropsy results discovered  this juvenile to be female.
"Truda" is an adult male that was photographed by Lloyd Johnson in 2016 & Barry Lewis in 2019 (note the tail growth and loss of barnacles in between the sightings).  Truda was then photographed by Steve Eady in 2020.
"Chelonibia" (the genus name for barnacles that typically attach to sea turtles) is an adult female that was photographed by Kevin Campbell in 2016.
"Hokulani" (heavenly star in Hawaiian) is an adult female that was photographed by Greg Walker in 2016.
